Perfect Feather Brows

Experience the PhiBrows!

PhiBrows is a manual, semi-permanent technique of hyper-realistic eyebrow drawing in which the shape of eyebrows is calculated according to facial morphology and golden proportion (phi 1,618). The technique is intended for anyone over the age of 18 (persons under 18 must be accompanied by their parents) who wants to correct the aesthetic problems of their eyebrows. In order to successfully perform the treatment, the skin must not be in the regeneration process, i.e. it must not be damaged. If there is eczema, seborrheic dermatitis, acne, pimples or any damage in the eyebrows area.

It last from 6- 18 months depending on the skin type, however, to maintain a fuller and fresher look it needs perfection touch up. Frequently Asked Questions

What is Microblading?

It is also called as Microstroking or Feathering. It is a semi permanent cosmetic tattooing in which superfine row of needles is used to create very thin hair strokes on the skin. It last from 6- 18 months, however, to maintain a fuller and fresher look we need touch up. Microblading or Feathering provides a realistic, fuller and symmetrical look on the eyebrows. Microblading is a good option for clients who can not yet be fully committed to Cosmetic Tattooing.

What is the difference between Microblading and Feathering?

Microblading is a relatively new, manual method of tattooing. It is considered to be semi-permanent, as compared to the traditional hair-stroke techniques done with a machine. There is no need to worry about the changing eyebrow trends since its a semi- permanent tattooing. Microblading basically is using a very fine blade to create series of little hair like impressions by depositing pigments into the top layer of the skin called dermis.

What is the procedure?

Upon arrival, you will have the opportunity to discuss your needs and wants and your preferences in terms of your Brows shaping. Our highly qualified cosmetic tattooist will design the perfect brows for each client according to the face structure and also based on her/his desired shape. Also, you will be advised about the different colors that suit your skin tone and hair color. Then the pigment is implanted gently into the top layer of the skin using very tiny needle strokes. The finer the strokes are denser the brows become with lots of tiny hair strokes. It creates full and natural looking brows.

Healing Process and Aftercare

The whole treatment process takes almost 2- 2.5 hours. However, the healing time might take 7- 14 days. During this time it is important that the client follows the instructions carefully. Followings are the points to be followed;

 - Itching and flaking will appear the first few days please, do not pick or scratch the dry skin. Picking can cause a scar.
 - No water, cleanser or makeup on the treated area until it's completely healed.
 - Allow 4 weeks before and after your treatment for any facials or anti wrinkle injections or fillers.
 - No swimming, sauna or Jacuzzi for at least 10 days.
 - Avoid direct sun and heavy sweating.

Level of pain:

The level of pain mainly depends on persons’ pain threshold. However, even people with low pain tolerance can handle the situation quite well.

How long does Microblading last for and How often I need a touch- up?

It highly depends on clients skin type but generally, it lasts between 6 to 18 months.
it might happen that the client feels the brow color is dark or it is too intense. However, after almost 4-6 weeks from Microblading treatment, the body will absorb the ink and the skin will become completely healed. After the skin recovery, the pigment becomes 30%- 50% lighter due to skin regrowth, body chemistry or even sun exposure. Touch up is an opportunity to correct or change the shape and adjust the color.

  • Do not have any type of facial 2 weeks prior to the procedure

  • Do not work out the day of the procedure

Important Reminders

  • Semi Permanent Make up will look dark and distinct immediately after treatment. DON’T WORRY. Remember the colour will fade 30-50% and look much more natural when healed.

  • It will be 2-3 weeks before the true colour appears. For some clients it is perfect, others it may be too light or patchy in some areas. If this is happening you have to book for touch up.

  • For the next few days you will experience a bit of itchiness and scabby skin on treated area.  Don’t worry your skin is healing.

  • Please DO NOT rub, pick, or scratch the treated area. Let any scabbing or dry skin naturally exfoliate away. Picking can cause scarring or loss of color.

  • Use a fresh pillowcase while you sleep.

  • Avoid sleeping on your face for the first 10 days.

  • Keep the facial hygiene.

  • No Facials, Anti-wrinkle Injections, Chemical Treatments, Light, Laser or Microdermabrasion for 4 weeks.

  • Avoid hot, sweaty exercise for 2 week.

  • Avoid direct sun exposure or tanning for 4 weeks after the procedure.  Wear a hat when outdoors.

  • Avoid long, hot showers for the first 10 days.

  • Avoid face-down swimming, lakes, and hot tubs for the first 10 days,

  • Avoid makeup and sunscreen on the area for the next 4 weeks.

  • Avoid anybody to touch your eyebrows.

  • Remember, with the proper prep and aftercare routine, you will have much better results with your Microblading procedure.

Important note about showering:

Limit your showers to 5 minutes so that you do not create too much steam. Keep your face/procedure area out of the water while you wash your body, then, at the end of your shower, wash your hair. Your face should only be getting wet only at the end of the shower. Avoid excessive rinsing and hot water on the treated area.
